yea the old man was coughing and sneezing earlier should stop sending him up lofts at his age the fiberglass gets him like this probably has well insulated lungs,i just tell him send the apprentice up if he comes through the ceiling just dont pay him that week if he sets the house on fire its a good excuse to sack him apprentices should remember they get all the crap jobs and until they speed up and improve the beatings wont stop

Just to add to this thread lads..


A Uk plumbers trusted advisor is simply that, his/her advice has been noted to be mostly spot on and can be trusted to be correct, now we don't want this to be a competition over other members, just simply a reward to such members for their contributions to this forum and our thanks for being friendly etc etc...

There is no set post count etc to gain this, members are discussed/ put forward in mods forum and when we feel a member is good and contributes often and is not rude etc, then they have a chance of being upgraded..

So those who are not yet green, then please do not take offence.. your time may be soon ..🙂

It better not be just related to post counts because I post quite a lot but know absolutely nothing about plumbing. If someone puts Trusted Advisor after my name it will be a sick prank to to play on unsuspecting members of the public. And I will of course use this power for utter evil.
 
I know! What a cross to bear. No more frivolity or throw-away comments. It's all got to be top class advice now.

On the one hand I think it's a bit of fun not to be taken too seriously. On the other I think this should result in all-out civil war and those hauty aristocrats now vaulted into the ruling classes should end up with their heads on spikes.

I take it nobody who has been bestowed with this nom de guerre was consulted beforehand? I remember being moderately annoyed when I suddenly became a "senior member." A bit before my time I felt. But they do say life moves pretty fast.
