just brought a expansion vessel in from the van to check its the right one for a job mid week,its for a 105 in a baxi box,my 11 year old daughter asks what is it dad.looks like a pizza box,so shows her the vessel and explains what it does,now we have a potteron performa condenser ,so she knows steam comes out of the flue,so trying to explain to her in child logic how a EV works,i say when you boil a kettle steam comes out of it,so the excess pressure is taken away,when you heat water in a sealed system boiler like our combi where does the excess pressure go to be dissipated? she looks at me,unimpressed and says,out the flue pipe stupid

When my granddaughter was around 2 and half / three , she watched me carry a load of copper tube and fittings into our house when I did the bathroom.
She asked what they were and stunned me when she said 'do the fittings go on the pipes'
