Leak under cistern - connecting float valve to the water supply pipe, as per photo

Hi

When I screw the water connection back on to the float valve thread under the cistern, there is a leak when I turn the water back on. There are 3 fibre washers filling the gap.

Does anyone know what I could do to stop the leak?

Get a new one with brass thread. easy fix under £20 if you do it yourself.
