Marvellous heated towel rail, never gone wrong in forty years - just blead it once a year. The four very large nuts holding a central panel to for rails have begun to leak, maybe because they got a bit of knock by the bathroom fitter. He tried tightening the nuts (prob 30mm or more) but it didn't help. A new one similar is about £700 - will that Spray'n'Seal stuff be any good or should I just call a plumber to sort out the nuts?

Thanks,

Russ

Yes,if you get a plumber in he will be able ti isolate radiator undo nuts and put some jointing compound on the joints and re-tighten leaving all sound
'The spray and seal stuf'will not help

do you not think that you have had your money's worth out of a 40 year old radiator????

Thank you all - I got a plumber to loosen the nuts and apply some sealant which sorted it out in half an hour for £70.
