Hello all,
I am usually just a reader of this forum but have a question I need help with so I hope someone can.

My 3 way valve on the CSI 85 has started to leak from the pin that triggers the microswitch. I replaced the whole valve just over a year ago a don't want to really do that again. I read there is a gland nut fixing kit which I can get a hold of. But I'm looking for some advice as to how the replacement is done.

Will I have to open the valve or does the seal come out where the pin is? And do I need any more seals to do the job? Any help would be appreciated. I know a gas engineer who can do this for me but his Ravenheat experience is pretty much zero and he's saying I need to replace the whole valve again but I hope that's not the case.

Thank you all in advance for reading this book🙂

Well the only advice we can give is don't mess with boiler and get a gas engineer to do the job properly

We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers, cookers or ANY gas appliances for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. Providing gas-related advice to anybody who should not be touching gas and cannot prove their competence is unacceptable. We will take whatever action we deem appropriate to prevent such advice being given
