After reading about all the doom and gloom within the industry (and my sore back!) it got me thinking if you decided to chuck it all in. What would you do instead?

You plan on dying straight after finishing work? Nice...:66:
Eccentric millionaire.
If it all goes to plan....
Retire in twenty years at 55, then move out to my place in spain
sounds like your in a very nice place Derek, i was hoping that my son would come into the business but after a few years decided it was not for him, which means problem solving and two handed jobs can be a real struggle at times having to rely on friends which can cause complications timing etc. these things take a bit of the fun out of work for me.I havnt the slightest inclination to pack it in, Im fortunate enough to have around 4,000 regular customers and 3 sons to carry on, i am also fortunate that I love my job, and enjoy working more than I enjoy money and material things, so I will probably work till im 85 and then hopefully get shot by a jealous husband! 🙂
