Installed a logic+ 24 kw combi this week commissioned , flushed and left appliance running with no issues . The appliance had been running for prob 24 hours with no issues until the owner ran out of gas . Cust has fed £50 into the meter gone back to appliance and couldn't get it running again . Soooo have had a call back and looked at it myself and appliance wont go past ignition lock out stage, now before i call ideal warranty card obviously have checked myself that not missing anything daft . Gas is defo in system as cooker works , powwer to boiler fine, checked condense no blockage ,gas upto gas valve o.k .

Is anything else i should check before i call them ?? I have a hunch its pcb as no clicking from spark electrode nor power to gas valve anyone else had an issue like this with this appliance model??

not teaching you to suck eggs but system pressure, just coz gas finished is pressure still ok, simple things can get lost in the woods etc etc

oh yeah never noticed that 1000th post moaning about an ideal boiler lol

yes system pressure over 1 bar ,

and yes phoned tech helpline and told them of issue and they said the gas to gas valve may have popped pcb ,just want to make suure tho that its nothing daft or i have missed

They've done better than the worcester juniors so far, divertor motors, fans, hydraulic blocks, flow sensor adaptors PCB's etc !

All boilers break down, if they didn't then the manufacturers would go bust! Generally I think the logic seems to be doing O.K? By the way, the board is made by viessmann according to the logic rep (a couple of years ago)

Some of the oldest WB juniors and Si are now 7 years old, so theres time for the Logic yet lol, interesting on the PCB front though

I like the logics, I like working on them. Everything's laid out with the engineer in mind. As previously mentioned all boilers break as do all cars computers phones tv's etc.

TBH i think they are oustanding value in every way, even more so with the the 7 year warranty, i just hope the dont do an Isar!

To be fair if they were going to do an isar they would all be on their third PCB by now!

Only thing i dont like about the logic is the cast ally heat exchanger, never been a fan of them, but I agree, very good value and well thought out.
