thats why everything you buy for gas should be tracable granted it would cost more cos of tax but safer ave got a good one of a flue bend i took off i put it on in the next few days

I always thought the pics you see in the gs mag cant be real. Id never seen anything that dodgy in 15 years. That was until i called to price up a boiler change. Walked in the kitchen that was being renovated and saw a 15mm pipe with a green garden hose pipe and a jubilee clip on it. Followed the hose through the lounge and into the dining room connected to a cooker! The guy went mad when i issolated the meter and even said he'd be reporting me to gas safe for leaving his family without gas!!! No photos, had to make a hastey retreat to the safety of the van!

an the scary thing is your suppose to ask there permission can you switch it off,lol and if not ring transco to switch them off i always use the "am gunner have to switch you off cos its dangerous and it will cost £2000 of transco to switch you back on in the road" it usually works i think it does cost a fair bit to be put back on that way tho
