Loose tap

Hi there, my kitchen sink tap has become loose underneath the wooden worktop due to wear. The horseshoe washer is now too small and will not hold the tap firmly in place. I have not been able to find a larger washer yet. Any suggestions?

It looks as though your worktop hole has gone bigger or too big to begin with. Piece of steel plate wit a 32mm hole punched through the middle.
Put the horseshoe washer beneath that.

I must have done that at least 50 times
