Hi

Trying to find the root cause for a low hot water pressure. The system uses a Range Tribune HE Indirect 210L (it is unvented, main pressured system).
A local plumber had a look at the cylinder and found scale on the cold inlet, advising to replace the cylinder. Sounds a bit too soon to me, same to the manufacturer. I know North Hampshire has a hard water, but I expect a cylinder to last more than 3 years.
He drained the cylinder and refill it, which took a bit of time.

I noticed a discharge from tundish. I had this discharge also about 1 year ago and at that time, the expansion vessel was full of water. A different plumber drained the water and re-pressurized the vessel and it was all good.
When I open the hot water it has a lot of pressure and it drops in 20-30sec. Also the hot water pressure dropped in a very short amount of time, I'll say under a month. Can this be because of scale?

Thanks,
Chris
