low level to close coupled wc

hi I will be taking out a low level toilet and cistern and replacing with a close coupled wc.
the waste outlet comes out the floor. thing is you can never get the close coupled wc right back to the wall
does anyone have a solution or is it just a case of packing with batten. thanks

A swan-neck might help to narrow the gap, then using a fixing with spacers, or battens as you say.

If the 4" pipe could be moved - even if a lot of work, it would be a nice professional job. Guess that is too hard.
There was a close coupled toilet years ago that was basically a pan for a low level, with a plastic adapter that connected the c.c. cistern, which enabled you to use the standard 90 degree pan connector. Don't know if anything like these exist now, but there is a need for them.

the customer has lino fiftted and will mean ripping the lino to get to the stack under the floor. think i will box it with mdf . thanks guys

They aren't a new idea. I have customer with one at least 30 years old with bottom waste feed

Well that's the first S trap close coupled WC that I've seen. Plenty of low level ones but never a CC. Bookmarked for future reference.
