Hi,

I'm over from the electrical forum. I live in a area where there isn't mains gas, I want a lpg gas fire in my lounge. My house is old church I converted a few years ago so there is no chimney and 950mm external stone walls.

I can't find a LPG fire with a horizontal flue with his longer than 800mm. Can you extend the flue or a power flue? Or should I just give up before I even start?

Hi there
Pretty much any gas appliance can be converted to LPG.
I agree that you'll probably need to go fanned flue but IMO you'd be wise to approach fire manufactures for their advice in the first instance.
