Any ideas on this please.
Installing ground floor bathroom. Pan connects direct to drain through floor, bath and basin discharge pipes into outside gully. There is no soil stack.
Customer wants en-suite, shower basin wc, installed on first floor directly above bathroom.
Looking to install macerator in en-suite.
Will remove ground floor pan, fit boss pipe wc connector to floor, McAlpine part No.WC-BP1. From this fit 90 degree pan connector to fit to new wc.
Connect macerator discharge from first floor en-suite to boss pipe wc connector on ground floor. Is this acceptable ?
Have spoke to Saniflo and Grunfos. Saniflo say no discharge must connect to soil stack, Grundfos have said yes to above plan. Have searched regs docs H and G can’t find anything that says you can or can’t. Also would aav above macerator be beneficial.
Any help out there would be appreciated
