Thinking of buying a Magnacleanse, partly because of the price and good reviews I've heard about them.

Question: If a carrying out a Flush on a system without a Magnaclean already fitted how would you connect up the Magnacleanse to the system?

Fit a Spirotech Flush connector ? only £28

Just cut into flow or return and elbow off, then repair after flush completion?

Cheers

I have a Magnacleanse and have tried using it on its own and then inline with my fernox powerfush machine, it does not work without the P/F machine IMHO.

If there's already a filter fitted I connect via the compression elbows. If no filter fitted I cut in as close to the boiler on the return as I can and put back together afterwards. I've made up a selection of adaptors which connect to the 3/4 threads on the magnaclean adaptor.

I've found that as long as you isolate the rads and do one at a time with the vibraclean it works just as well but I prefer to use it in conjunction with a magnaclean.
