Main combi hot water

i have a main combi and the hot water is going hot then cold and is now more cold than hot.

Is this a diverter valve problem ?

how old is the boiler.
heat exchange could be scaled up

probably the diverter diaprahm has failed

been told it is probably the secondary heat exchanger. plumber is looking at it tomorrow.

doing the plate heat exchanger tomorrow and then check the diverter valve.

Do i need a whole divert valve if this is broken or do you just need the diaprahm

if the diverter has opened and chucked its water down the ch pipe you will need the whole part,why hasn't it been checked already?

HE changed today and all okish. the water works fine. when the heating comes on the hot water gets to 60C. Plumber said once central heating gets warmer,say in an hour, hot water will be fine.

So we are going to see how it gets on and if any more problems will change the diverter.
