because the pressure gauge is on the negative side of the pump when the boiler and pump kick in it drops the pressure back down,its still to high though drop it to 1 bar

gauge take off is on negative side of pump, most baxis do this

fitted a few mains now one at my daughters and noticed when hw is demanded gauge moves but not to that extent cheers
