Happy Friday chaps

Further to my thread the other night about refurbishing a block of seven or eight flats. At present the meter situation is a bit hit and miss.

Owner has expressed his preference that all the metrs should be in A communal cupboard in the lobby of the block. I appreciate that it will be the gas company's job to do the donkey work of this but are they even likely to want to do it as I thought the preference was that meters are outside these days. From my perspective it will be a damsite easier piping the gas up the outside of the property but I am just curious as to whether or not what the customer wants can be done

Any thoughts appreciated
