mira gem 88 replace to suit combi

hi chaps. just fitted combi boiler and customer has above shower mixer installed. its not suitable for combi boilers. anyone know if i could fit anything to reduce the cold flow down or a new thermostatic shower valve that fits the existing backplate and pipe distances?

It's replacement shower I'm afraid, I had exact same thing last week and mira said absolutely no so.ution other than new shower. I think the mira excel or mira combi force are straight swaps.

A mira Excel is probably the best shower on the market today, or indeed at any point in the last 15 years. Unfortunately, they are not cheap. The Combiforce is not much cheaper, so if you go that way, go Excel.
