Mira shower - Pump/Drainage issue

Hi all, please advise.

I moved in about 4 years ago and this shower has been here since. It looks like the pump is on it's way out?? It will extract/drain the tray once or twice and then you will hear what sounds like the pump engaging(some sort of humming noise) but water is not extracting. It's like the thing inside the pump is not rotating. Do I just replace the whole pump? is there something I can do to fix this?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
