No competitions this weekend so we've been at home.

Started out Saturday Morning with a walk around the woods.

We've an extra dog for a week, Amber the Jack Russel is stopping with us whilst her owner is Horse Riding in France.

Whilst Sharon started spring cleaning the wardrobes I nipped out and bought some vacuum storage bags to pack the winter clothes away (perhaps prematurely). When I got back the weather had cleared so I left her to it and headed out the back and put the folding camper up to give it a clean and check for damp before our first excursion in July. All was okay so I packed a few bits in it, including our new fancy dog proof windbreaks to use as a fence whilst camping. ( the guys escaped from our "garden" at the last show we camped up by diving under the orange netting). I just managed to get it folded away before the rain started again.

After a lunch (picked up from a nice bakers whilst I was out earlier) we headed out for our afternoon walk around the Fire Hills.

Amber is enjoying her holiday.

The camouflage isn't working Alfie, we can still see you.

Yesterday we had a very brief walk around the West Hill before coming back for breakfast and heading off to Patching for a charity dog walk and finishing with a pub lunch.

Boris has grown at a tremendous rate, he's now taller than Arthur.

After a nice lunch at the pub we nipped into the Dogs Trust at Shoreham on the way home for their open day. Much to my disgust there was a hog roast wagon and I was still full from my pub lunch (and the chocolates we'd pigged, I won a box in the raffle at the walk.).

Dinner last night was a bowl of cereal, we were shattered and still a bit full from lunch.

I'm not a 'dog' person really but I can appreciate the beauty of nature - some very nice shots there - definitely worth sharing.

Could I ask what camera you have?

If your intentions were to make people gloat..

Then you have certainly achieved what you set out to do.......

charity dog walk means a lot of pooh bags, local councils etc down here ban dogs on the beaches during the summer, so the nipper takes her horse instead, no pooh bags big enough for what she leaves 🙂

It's a Canon 1D MK IV, fitted with an EF 70-200 IS USM MK 2 L

yeah well, its a camera, good to see other folks dogs like a bit of horse manure, freshens the breathe 🙂

I am now officially bored to tears, 2nd day of being on call mechanic, so no dog walks, no booze and run out of decent books to read ho hum.
