Hi - don't know if anyone can help with this...
We have a new build house, bath but no shower in bathroom. Access underneath the bath to remove the existing mixer taps in the bath is limited and may not be possible to remove them without destroying boxing-in etc.
So - I removed the small faucet from the existing taps.
This is 1" diameter, about 1cm high, male threaded and screws into the underside of the mixer.
Question - is there a way I can adapt this to take a shower hose to avoid having to remove taps altogether ?

Would need to fit a shower head at one end as usual, other end would either need a 1" male connection, or some kind of adapter..
Any advice appreciated...

:welcome2: Mike.

It is difficult to understand what you are trying to do. Can you post a picture?

Sure - this came from the underside of the mixer tap. I'm trying to find a shower hose to replace, directly or via an adapter IMG_0175.jpg

So you're converting a mixer tap into a mixer shower, that's different. I can only suggest taking it to a plumbers merchant and they should be able to fix you up with a connector.

Hi - guess so (sorry don't know much about this stuff!) I'm trying to find out whether there's any kind of adapter I can buy that screws in to where the filter came from to be able to run a shower house from it ?

Hi - yes, because of lack of access to the space under the bath to remove the taps I was just trying to see whether there was another way of doing it. IMG_0177.jpg
