Some advice please. We installed a Valliant Ecomax boiler (runs of megaflow) in our loft office some years ago and now want to convert office to a bedroom. We don't want boiler in bedroom especially as it's quite large (heats a 4 bed house). Therefore, we want to re-site boiler to a large cupboard on floor below facing same wall (almost directly below about 3/4 ft to right). How big a job is this? and e.g. could we use same pipework extended, flue outlet etc..

Don't understand. I assume we won't need a new boiler (only 4 years old) and it's a case of de-installing Boiler, re-routing water/gas pipework, re-commissioning, making good etc.. Surely avoiding cost of new Boiler means wouldn't be same as installing a new one.

Ok. But as almost directly underneath should hopefully be able to utilise same pipework i.e. gas supply etc.. hopefully by bringing it down through ceiling.

Any idea what it would cost i.e. move Vallaint boiler to floor below facing same wall, assoc. pipework etc..
