I had British gas over to quote to replace my backboiler with new combi. All great and had it installed only later to find on this forum while looking for something else that the one pipe system is not ideal for new combi.
Seems to work ok, but everyone is talking about the pressure and possible leaks. Piping is probably 50 years old, still looks ok and haven't had a major issue - most radiators seem to heat up but some a bit cooler.
Anyway, did British gas advise me wrong? should I call them back to check on certain things they didn't mention?
They set the pressure to 1.9
