Nice bit of kit. Cheers for posting that up gasman.

I always use washing machine hose's which work perfectly as a flexi condensate pipe. You often have to cut the rubber collar back but they work a treat and take seconds to fit. 🙂

For sure.
A firm I subcontracted to for a while a few years ago used to use them. I've used literally hundreds since and never ever had a problem.
I use them mainly as a guide though unless its going into a trap . So I would run it into 1 1/4" pipe somewhere convenient below the install if it had a long run.
The pH of condensate from a boiler is typically 2.9 to 4 and from a gas boiler contains nitric acid. Nitric acid is supplied in plastic bottles so I reckon we are good to go 🙂
