Just fitted a new Danfoss TP7000 wireless stat to my Potterton combi. The stat seems to be saying the room temp is a lot higher than it actually is.

When I first put the batteries in it to set it up, it reckoned the room temp was over 27 degrees. I had to set the set temp to almost 30 to test the system and it is communicating with the receiver fine. It isn't wall mounted, we got the optional table stand. I put the high reading down to holding the stat in my hands.

Anyway, today, came home after no ch being on all day and it said room temp was 22, which is still over.

Any thoughts or experience welcome.

Drayton controls are pish! Is there a thermister adjustment inside stat? Is it in the sun or next to a rad? Put it in fridge with a thermometer as a test, if miles off take it back and get a better one!

Have u read instructions and trouble shooting bit?
