New potential issue!

View the thread, titled "New potential issue!" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

Read it but there’s not much you can do fella without another engineer. Think you’re just going to have to badger the last guy

Which of these 2 pipes out of the tank should be cold btw? I know the one at the back is the cold water pipe but what of the other 2, and are either of those valves bleed valve? In case it's trapped air giving me grief?

What do you mean cold?? As in mains cold? Call me daft you have tried opening the bleed valve to see if there’s air

Can’t see one to the right of the valve but the bleed valve above the valve is the one you want

I suggest you get the last engineer back mate. He will be busy and difficult to get hold of. But will be worth it in the end.

I'll give him another call tomorrow.
He'll call me back later .
Could it be that the valve is partly blocked with sludge? The first engineer after draining the system put some cleaner in the small tank to help clean out the system, as the boiler installation guy didn't flush system at all.

Sludge will not block it that quickly if it is new.

As I’ve said about 4 times though mate if (I know we don’t know for sure) the motor was receiving a constant power and was stuck in one position the motor could have worn very quickly I am amazed he didn’t replace the valve when he knew it had been stuck in one posotion

I know , it's just I'm so bloody frustrated with it Now!

Turns out the 3 way valve wasn't opening fully. Plus hive system fitted, some folk out there aren't fans but I must say I'm rather impressed so far!
