Sadly but true.

If your tired of trying to survive over there, then you'll be in the same boat over here mate. I know blokes over here with not much on, people have no money over here at the minute. Housing associations and councils always have work but the money is whack.
As far as certification goes I'm not sure on the ins and outs of it all but I'm sure someone will.
I'd really think about leaving where you are, out of the frying pan into the fire comes to mind.

Thank you for answering! I clearly understand whta you are saying! BUT! I have no future in my country with this sort of buisness! Every year it's getting wors!! I know that I'm hardworking, and I don't have illusions about UK! I'm ready to start from the very depth! And I think I have much more oportunities in your country!
And I think we have different understanding of "surviving"!!! 😉

Looks like you know you stuff as far as gas goes. I would stop and think about a move to the Uk, we are overflowing with plumbers and gasfitters and even established companies are finding it hard. Good luck if you decide to make the move.

If it were that, I would be i GOD!! 🙂 Actualy I've decided allready! 😉 As we say: If you dont' risk you will not drink shampagne! 🙂 And I'm not to old to make changes in my life!

I'd say you need to get in touch with your local college and see what they say. Without UK regs it's not gonna happen.

Hello kiril, welcome to the forum.
to work on gas in the UK you would need to be registered with Gas safe.
to become registered you will need to prove competence through the ACS scheme.
The background and existing qualifications you have will count for something, but probably not much.
You would need to contact a college/training provider in the uk,
they will be in a better position to explain the options open to you.
Or possibly contact Gas Safe, and get some feed back from them.

Your existing qualifications may be ok depending what you have.
This link will be of interest to you.

Kiril... if you're going to come over, you'd better do it quickly... after the revolution, most recent immigrants will probably be kicked out... we have several million from Bulgaria and Romania coming over soon, which could be the tipping point. It's not that you're not welcome, it's just that the UK is a very small island... if we had the land mass of say France it would be alot easier...
