Newly qualified gas engineer notts/derby area

hi all, im a newly qualified gas engineer from the Nottingham/derby area and Im really struggling to find work. I don't want to go self employed yet as I have bill to pay. I was wondering if any 1 on here had any advice or know of any 1 that is willing to take on a newly qualified engineer. ive sent my CV off to many companies but no 1 is interested without experience. any help would be great. thanks lee

Hi Lee
i would assist a local gas engineer for free until you are confident enough to go it alone.
how did you manage to qualify without experience?

ive spoken to a few local companies but none of them are interested. Ive offered free work, offered to be paid a lot less than they would normally pay and also asked for trials, still nothing. I have a portfolio of 30 jobs but they had to be completed under the supervision of a registered gas engineer, so what is ment by no experience is unsupervised.
