Can anyone please help i am still having trouble with my hot water through the cylinder i have hot water when the central heating is on, however when i switch it to just hot water there is a gurgling noise and the pipe on the cylinder goes cold and it stops heating up.
I had a spare three way valve and changed it over to see if it was that? however no joy.
has anyone got any ideas please😕

it has to be the valve or the control unit the valve will normally have 3 positions
1/ch only valve prevents hot water from boiler entering the cylinder
2/hot water only water flows through cylinder back to boiler not round heating circuit
3/valve allows water through cylinder and ch circuit
as you have hot water when the heating is on we can assume no blockage in the cylinder
you really need to get a plumber there to check proper function of valve and control unit and double check for system blockages
