no hot water

priced a basin and wc swap to vanity ones yesterday in en suite of dormer bungalow - was told we have never had hot water in the en suite but the pipes are in floor ready for the hot .told them they cant have hot water in there without a lot of expense why was there answer - because the tank is lower than the basin 🙂 but we have cold water so why not hot ? priced for pump and one for ariston water heater

I had a similar "discussion" with a council tenant complaining that the shower would only work when the head was held low. They had an elson type cylinder!
