Hi got got my g3 unvented ticket but mainly do boiler swaps/breakdowns but customer has asked to have a look at an issue not come across and wondered if other engineers have had this slight issue.
Gledhill cylinder intermittent drone coming from expansion vessel,I know there is a flexible hose which I'm going to replace for rigid pipe,thinking that if I test hot water pressure at the bath tap and reducing the vessel charge to match.the noise has been from early installation 2013 the guy who fitted it done nice job but has joined a company rather then working for himself.
The combination valve had been changed after 2weeks as it leaked so unlikey to be this but what do I know?!?!
