Oh it's great to service an old boiler. Had to service a ideal Mexico slimline Rs 55 today, could these boilers have been any easier to service? What's your favourite old boiler to service?

I quite enjoy doing the baxi bermudas , fire front and back boiler , i still service and maintain a few but they are dying a slow death lol...... long live the thermocouple

Simple beasts, i know they aren't efficient but will outlast a condenser 3-1.

Solo 2PF 's , all the bits are accessible and easy to clean and service .its usually a sticking fan or pilot light kit renewal .The only fiddly bit is getting the casing on and off , most of them have been attacked with tinsnips to make them fit around pipes ..
