I have a 2005 Vauxhall combo which I bought when I started in 2008 for £3600 inc VAT and if they are going to give me £2000 to scrap it next year I've had ten years use for £1600, not bad.

It was only meant as a stop gap van im too tight to change it, and to what anyway? A barnd new Transit that can be opened with device from ebay?

I mean can you even buy a decent petrol van?

Am hoping for the same. Maybe worth buying a cheap van to scrap later. But will we be able to buy diesel vehicle, or has it to be petrol?

They will probably only allow one scrap per household or whats to stop you going out and buying every £100 clapped out old wreck yourself and getting 2 grand a pop.

I have not long got rid on my 05 reg berlingo. It was awesome. Had it 5 years cost me £3500 and all I have ever had done was MOT/brakes and tyres. Very sad when I let it go.
