Anyone been watching that Penny Dreadful with the lovely Eva Green? If you like period dramas, and you like dark stuff, this'll be right up your street!

Thingy kills whosit, and whosit comes back and haunts watchamacallit. They all live happily ever after.

I was wanting to watch it, but havent seen any. Ill have a look to see whats available or wait for the dvd.

You're getting a hard stare at the moment Si........

I'm just about to watch ep7! I'm a sucker for a good dark drama. I just finished House of Cards and Hannibal. I'm running out of shows :/

Just going through Breaking Bad at the minute and waiting on series 6 of Sons of Anarchy.

I got to series 5 I think of breaking bad, and it became too far fetched for me. I've not seen Sons of Anarchy, will have to check it out

Waiting for falling skies to return. All the good shows are ending or have ended.

Quite like the new one on watch, Almost Human.

Aye that one's good too. I like Karl Urban as an actor, he's practically chameleonic!

From Eomer in LoTR to Bones in Star Trek to Dredd, each character he's almost unrecognisable from before.

Aye, he gets about. Really surprised how good he is as bones in the new Star Treks, they did a real good job casting on all fronts with that one. Also caught him in a horror, with Paul Bettany, Priest. Different.

Watched Guest House Paradiso tonight, taped it on itv4 last night. Class.

Gina Carbonara..... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My favourite line in that is

"Chef's hurt himself.'"
"How badly?"
"lndescribably badly. He hit his head on a frying pan 17 times."

I'm just about to try it again. I watched 4 episodes a while ago but didn't get into it. Everyone tells me to just keep watching..

The first season is pretty slow going, it takes a while to get used to who/where everyone is. It picks up more and more with each season. I thoroughly recommend it but its not everyones cup of tea.

Everyone I know goes wild about games of thrones but haven't tried it yet. When I was off work after an op I watched Breaking Bad in the space of about 2 weeks, incredible telly. Love Luther Aswell but just not enough series

ooooh breaking bad, that last episode where it all happens is sooo surprising, I'll pm what happens John so as not to ruin it for the rest of them

Been catching up with '24' Lie to me, and now Almost Human, some good programs starting to come from the States

Game of thrones is excellent
the walking dead is excellent
son keeps telling to watch breaking bad but 6 seasons is bit much so started watching falling skies which I got into straight away no spoilers Simon I'm only on season 1

what else is worth a watch.
