Hi all looking for a plastic pipe cutter, any recommendations on price + brand? thanks all in advance

Don't like the Rothenberger - on Hep20 it springs back and doesn't ratchet properly.

Would recommend the Rigid cutter RC2375 Will cut up to 2" so useful for MDPE and has lifetime warranty.

Mine is a Reed cutter and reckoned to be one of the best but I don't think there is a distrubutor in the UK.

i agree the rothy is crap especially on 22mm hep if you only use it for hep go for the smallest you can as they seem to get a bit ubwieldly as they get bigger and dont fit snug in your hand

Mine is the Reed RS1PLT and it really is the dog's danglies. Have cut literally thousands of larger bore MDPE and Hep20 with it. Looks like you may be able to get it here:

Where to Buy

On the other hand, Rigid tools are spot-on and probably better, just I never bought one.

I was suitably unimpressed with the Monument plastic pipe cutter.

The Rothenberger waste pipe Plasticuts have been modified (Black colour now!) and they now cut in one rotation!! - with reversible double life blade they are really efficient ..very new out and you will have to contact them direct 0800 626985
sizes 35 , 40 and 55...they are all amazing -even the 55. I will say that the previous ones wern't very good and a lot of problems so you can see I speak fro experience.
