Hi Gents

Apologies for any non technical terms used!

Pnuematic flush on consealed cistern was fine since install. Went on hols for a week and upon return flush now takes 5 or 6 button pushes to flush. Have shortened the pnuematic pipe length but no better. Swapped it with the short flush, no better (button is only a single). Took off pnuematics and pushed down the flush manually and it works fine.

Pipe is not split at all. Has the button gone? Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for reading the post

hi , Had the same ploblem at the weekend myself . Tried every thing like yourself . I gave up in the end after 3 hours and ordered a new flush !!!! . The problem is that there is so many different types of flush on the market you struggle to get spare parts . Check out this site Lunn Specialist Plumbers Merchant

Thanks for the replies.

I had no idea which make the button was so as mentioned above, spares weren't really an option, when I put my finger over the end of the pipe when connected to the button there was some air coming out, but anyway, a new button was the most cost effective way to go and cured the problem.

The new button required drilling a larger hole in the woodwork but has done the job. Hopefully no issues in the future.
