Potterton performer 28i Hot Water problems

I have Potterton performa28i and hot water stays hot for about 20 seconds and goes cold again, is this diverter valve or heat exchanger also is there a filter on this boiler.

well are you getting hot water then cold then back to hot hen cold and so on??, or is it just flat cold? after, a little bit more of the situation needed please.

It gets hot as normal but then goes cold after about 10 seconds and will not reheat, the red temp lights go up to 80 quite quicky

Does sound like the plate heatexchanger is blocked .... there is a filter but its on the central heating side. Does the light sequence drop back down as quickly or remain at 80?

The slug of hot water is your PDA (248728) that is stuck (99% of the time). Remerber this is a instant so make sure who does it drains it all down ???

yes a 5 inch drill bit wedging the hydraulics down against the chassis helps

Nope she's a baxi 575 .... reliable and still goin strong!! LOL
