Hi guys,
Iv'e been called to a Profile to service it.
When I had finished the service the boiler would not re light.!

I followed the fault finding instructions in the servicing /part replacement guide of the boiler instructions which lead me to believe the solinoid on the gas valve had failed.
The solinoid comes as part of the gas valve.
The gas valve has been replaced, but the boiler will still not fire.

I have double checked the following.
240V across T2/3. My multi meter shows 225V, Potterton allow a 10% variance.
The boiler, when switched on goes through the start up sequence with no obvious issues.
The fan runs whilst the the boiler has power.

There is a spark across the pilot, but it does not light.
There is gas to the valve, but none coming out to the pilot to allow the boiler to ignite.

I contacted Potterton, who suggest its a faulty gas valve, I find this difficult to believe as Honeywell gas valves are generally good when new.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
James
