Power flushing sub-contracting Gloucester

To all plumbers in the Gloucester area,
I am starting up a business offering powerflushing and installation of Magnaclean filters. I am particularly interested in sub-contracting for Gas Safe plumbers, undertaking the system cleanse after boiler installation or services etc. I hope to offer a cost-effective service, allowing you to move on to the more technical jobs.
I have recently completed the City and Guilds level 2 technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering Services - Heating and Ventilating at Gloucestershire College as well as Kamco training.
I have all my own equipment, transport and £1 million public liability insurance.

Good luck Taps ! but their is already a National Co doing the same service, they pay the installer £50 for the lead, what do you offer ? Also did the Kamco course about 10 years ago, still useing same old CF90 machine.

Yes, very true. However, a plumber who needs to do his own powerflushing is not really whom I am trying to engage with.

My 'premium' service will be the installation of a Magnaclean and a subsequent system flush using a Magnacleanse. However, there may be customers or installers who do not want to add a Magnaclean to their system, particularly when they cost around £85 for a 22mm unit or around £145 for a 28mm variant. I will therefore be also offering a straight powerflush using a Kamco CF 90 incorporating the TwinMag. If my business model is flawed then I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Hi just another comment on your hopes for power flushing work! if you are aiming at the bigger installers , do you not think that they have got their own flushing sorted by now ? you would be better of going for the private customer, but you will have to keep your prices quite tight, Hope that you are not releying on this as your main sorce of income, make sure that your insurance covers you for this type of work, as you could find a lot of problems when you start flushing ! and you could finish up with loads of claims, Do-Not forget you will be dealing with people trying to get somthing for nothing, You will get the line (it was ok till you touched it) best of luck , but be carefull,
