After what came up on other thread I was wondering just how much is pint in your local. It's €5 in mine which is prob just under 4 sterling. My missus is from the country where it's prob around €4. That's prob a little over 3 sterling.
Pub trade in generL isn't the same since the recession. More folk drinking at home. I've 2 small lads so trips to pubs more over last few years have dipped drastically to say the least

only problem being, body cant take drinking it like I used too 🙁

Was thinking back to early 00' when it was £1 for carling £1.50 for the rest in the toon! Or if you went on the boat £10 in and 10p a drink. Boosh stutents ! I loved my early 20's in the toon.

£2.20 for a pint of Sam Smiths Old Brewery Bitter from Sam Smiths pub here which is the cheapest. Tetleys £2.80, Black Sheep £3, nothing much more than £3.50. We tend to meet up at peoples houses instead more these days and bring our own unless we are playing darts, dominoes or pool.

I don't know the yoof of today! Where will it all end? There all wild animals.

We must have it good here in Yorkshire. £1.94 for Smiths Double Four, £2.01 for Taddy Lager and £1.80 for Cask. All nice tipples

Sooner stop at home, put my feet up, and sup a few Boddingtons.

Did hear that the local yoof are pranking the local coke-heads: Local yoofs are buying sherbet and leaving a line of sherbet on top of the toilet cistern, coke-heads go to the toilet and think Christmas has come early, sniffing the sherbet.
Now that would be worth paying £3.50 a pint for, just to watch🙂

Is that another northern saying? Is it something about taking a poo?

Warwickshire, lovely and leafy. The shire in lord of the rings country. But no hobbits or dragons, well maybe a few dragons especially at the weekends.
