Hi,

I'm trying to solve a problem and came across this forum and I hope you can help (and don't mind giving free advice).

My HW went off but CH was ok, next day took Actuator off moved valve and got HW but no CH. I replaced the Actuator today but again got no CH. I have now took the actuator off and set the valve to manual and get both CH/HW.

Could I just have been unlucky and had a broke Act and bought another dud one or can anyone throw some light on this for me?

could be lots of things. timer, roomstat, cylinder stat. Probably easier to get someone qualified heating engineer to check it out for u.
