pump valve connection advice required pleaseeeeeee....

hello fellow plumbers..... just bought a Grundfos UP20-14 BXA PM secondary return pump.


the connection on the pump is oddly 1 1/4" as appose to the usual 1 1/2"
my question is...where can I purchase a 1 1/4" to 22mm "ball valve" pump connection (not a gate valve). Many thanx in advance.

Why on earth would you want ball type over gate type?

Nope!
Ball valves leak first time you use them. Gate valves you can tighten or repack the gland

If you mean the slotted pump valves then not sure where you'd buy them in that size...They are double crap btw, always have been always will...Turn off bleb of water bleb of water ffs drain down swap the valves time.

You can use 11/4 x 3/4 pump unions and fit some decent isolation valves.

You can get pump valves but they are more expensive than common sized ones. A quick google search finds these
