like most cheap tools to me are false economy,all my hand tools are bacho,with the exception of pump pliers they are knipex,but 2 bacho products i think are total rubbish the junior hacksaw flexes to much and that stupid pump piers they make with the grey button is useless anyone else find this?

I stopped buying rothenberg years ago (gas torch excluded). The quality generally is not good.

Saying that, the quality of most things is seriously falling for the sake of saving pennies.

Monument and Bahco for everything for me, don't buy Rothenberger as the quality is diy these days, that is except the Surefire 2. Hate that once proud and quality brand, Stanley except for hammers and knives.

For hammers look at Estwing, they are the dogs. I've had the same hammer for around 15 years now. Before I discovered Estwing I was getting a new hammer yearly.

The only thing about estwing is that they need to be supplied with a padlock and chain cos they have a tendency to walk!

I've got 3 sets of aluminium pipe wrenches made by rigid - quality gear.
I've also got a tripod with the chain vice which I ermm.. liberated from a job once..

You can still buy Rigid tools. Excellent quality but quite expensive.
