Morning all the attached is one of my Bulldog TRVs.
Compared to all the other same valves in my house, this one is in the Open position, also confirmed by the fact the radiator gets hot.
All my others operate easily with thumb pressure to move the pin down to close the valve, this one does not move at all.
I have tried using WD40, gently tapping and tried to depress the button with various solid items (was making big dents in my thumbs) anything further i can try?
You will notice there is a brass 'head' that is underneath the button that's supposed to move.
What would happen if I slacked that head off? would it create a bit more tolerance to allow the button to work or would it get wet around the area?
Any help please before contacting a plumber?
