hi need a radiator in conservatory will it be ok to tee off radiator about 2m away combi system or do i need to come off main flow and return thanks in advance

hi mate, it can be ok to come off another rad run but it depends how big the pipework is and if it can satisfy the demand. can you let me know the sizes and outputs and i can help further

hi there radiator last one in lounge is 800x6oo d/rad the one in conservatory needed is 900x400 d/rad the pipe supply is 15 mm thanks in adavance

15mm will prvide about 6kW, is your demand under that? i presume it is from the sizes youve given. Is it only sertving those 2 rads?

a 900x400 rad isnt that big and is unlikely to heat much of a room, never mind a conservatory, where did you get this size from?

whats a 9x4 double convector about 1.5kw? alot of people me included dont have a massive rad in a conservatory, wasting valuable pounds, i have one just big enough to take the chill of and stop it all freezing. dont use the room much in winter so i can afford to do that. if we do use it i open the doors to the dining room and it soon warms up

11-1200 watts depending on the make. It takes a lot to heat a conservatory. Too much heatloss through the glass.
