The radiator in our bedroom does not warm up. I removed the thermal adjusting "thing" to expose the pin. The pin simply slides in and out as I would expect it to do. In or out, the radiator does not warm up. The radiator in the kitchen was the same, but removing the "thing" and pulling the pin out, gently of course, corrected the radiator and it functions normally now. What should I do to coerce the radiator in the bedroom to begin functioning again.

change the trv.

Is the "trv" the thing that I have removed or the part that is part of the radiator? I can't see how replacing the part I have removed would have any effect, so am going to assume you mean the part which contains the pin, is that right? If so, I need to get someone from the estate to do this, it is a rented place.

yes all of it.
I've given the info to my girl. She is a native of these parts, and speaks the language natively. I did not know if there was a "five minute fix" for the issue, and had no wish to waste anyone's time. Cheers for the info.

The solution is a Radiator Flow Booster
