Hi
I recently installed a close coupled toilet in my WC in my new office. I didn't realise that any new installations needed to be DDA compliant and now have to change the whole WC to comply with the DOC M regulations.
They have said that I can use the toilet I have already installed as long as a) I add a plinth to the base to raise the height, and b) change the current dual flush push button for a raised push button that can be used with a closed fist.
I have found the plinth to raise the toilet, so that is one tick off the list - but I simply cannot find a flush button that is raised! On all of the plumbing websites I have looked at, the buttons are flush with the top of the cistern, and can only be pressed with one or two fingers. Can anyone direct me to a flush button that is raised, so to flush the toilet someone can press down on it with a closed fist to flush the toilet?
I'd rather not have to buy a whole new toilet with a paddle flush, when all I need to do is replace the current sunken push button with a raised one.
Can anyone advise?
thanks
