Hi,

I would like your thoughts on a you tube video I posted Here

Obviously you can tell me the truth in the "Arms"

I wouldn't have the patience to video it. Wouldn't have seen anything on last nights last job, bloody soot everywhere.

The music is annoying 🙂

Nice boiler to show it on with it looking like the boilerhouse model. Plenty of room.

I was always taught to change the nozzle with the burner pointing upright so that you get that little squirt of oil as you tighten it up, but each to their own.

I don't use an analyser but a wet kit, looks more mystical to the custs.

Nice video, just hope people don't think they can drop the baffles out, hoover it and leave it at that for a service.

i like it,
can we have a youtube page on boiler servicing, gotta to be worth a giggle.

Philistine Poor Amadeus will be turning in his grave (or what's left of him) 🙂

Try finding a piece of music 14 minutes long, not many options even in the classical section.

You may have noticed no gloves, less little squirts of oil the better, actually never thought of that good idea to fill the new nozzle.

Wet kit, sheesh another box to blow the dust off 🙂 still very handy as a back up might try a video using one, then again maybe not 🙂

The message is supposed to be use an analyser, seriously if there's anything you think should be taken out let me know, it's not supposed to a set of instructions for DIY.

Thanks for the review.

This one is an experiment, if it works at all I was thinking of a few more showing the bad installations, now that would be fun !

Hi Pete, I was just watching your vid and the wife really liked the music you had on. Snyder chance of the name? Nice video too

Music is: Sonata For Piano No. 11: Andante Grazioso - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Your wife is obviously a Lady with great taste.

Sorry Pete, had'nt thought about the one bit of music for 14 minutes.

Can't get away with gloves whilst doing a service, unless its hot (gauntlets) or like the black hole of Calcutta. But I always find I shred the goves within a couple of minutes of putting them on.

The more I thought about it I like seeing the analyser, it will put people off from doing it themselves. Can't see somebody paying 500+ to save a few quid each year on a service.

At least with the wet kit I don't spend out on calibration just a new bottle of fluid now and again. If I was doing nothing but oil then I would probably invest in an analyser, but my kits been sat mainly unused all through the summer. Odd commission and breakdown but it's been bathroom central.

Now what you want is an old nasty myson, with soot everywhere for your next vid.

No problem Simon, I had tried it without the music but poor quality and silence were not working.

I was thinking about your first thoughts, maybe I have included too much detail there is no reason why I couldn't cut the video in half and show what the analyser does?

I like the sooty boiler idea, would need a customer to film my clothing before and after for real effect 🙂

As I said this is an experiment if it works I will be happy to post the results here, if it works like I have been told it should it may help all the professionals here, it will take about 6 weeks to see if it's working.
