Hello,

I have a problem with a Ravenheat LS80 T. No hot water and No heating. I can't find anywhere the Installation instructions (Online) I'm thinking it's the PCB but as I am just getting into fault finding on boilers I want to be sure. So here's why i'm thinking it's the PCB. Turn the boiler on pump gets 230v Pump proves then fan gets 230v, Air pressure switch is working then after that it goes to lock out.Gas valve doesn't get voltage. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Must be old, but yeah usually it should go straight to ignition after fan proving 🙂

Am I right in thinking it should start sparking before opening the gas valve? or is it gas valve opens and then spark. Because when the fan started running nothing happened, no voltage to the gas valve. I think is missed out checking spark gen

I usually use these 3 steps when dealing with a Ravenheat;

1 - Go to van and get 14lb hammer
2 - Smash foook out of said Ravenheat
3 - Replace with ANYTHING ELSE!!! :hammer::hammer::hammer:

Fault finding chart for this boiler says: "ignition spark 1st, then power to gas valve".
It then says: "If no power at gas valve then check the air pressure switch"

I would be checking the resistances across the air pressure switch contacts C to NO and C to NC
before looking at pcb fault.
