DC millivolts I think , between 18-22 ish. I'm sure they drop out around 10-12 ish.
I normally check a new one in van if I forget the reading but it is around there.
If you have a good multimeter it's a lot easier because a lot of them auto range so when you're testing it switches to the right currency so to speak.
Better for testing windings to as the ohms scale will do the same thing.
Fluke 116 is good for us, you can test ionisation current with it as well as temperature, capacitors etc all the things we need is on it. Not cheap but worth every penny.
